Real Installation
The NP2 is a 2U horizontal cable management bay built to contain patch-cable slack inside the rack. Instead of pushing excess cable into bulky finger-duct vertical managers, the NP2 keeps routing compact, accessible and out of equipment airflow paths.
Step 1 — Get Excess Cable Off the Rack Face
Long patch cords create bundles that consume vertical-manager capacity, obstruct access and complicate service. The NP2 moves slack control into a dedicated 2U horizontal bay so the front of the rack stays usable.
Step 2 — Route With Bend Radius in Mind
The open internal bay gives patch cords room to form controlled service coils rather than being packed into narrow finger ducts. That keeps routing predictable and preserves access when a connection needs to be changed.
